Hammonton, New Jersey, is known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World" and offers a variety of activities and attractions for residents and visitors alike. Hammonton is my home town and I am very proud of it. It's more than just blueberries. Here are some fun things to do in Hammonton:
Hammonton Blueberry Festival: If you visit during the summer, don't miss the annual Blueberry Festival, which celebrates Hammonton's blueberry heritage with live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, and of course, plenty of blueberry-themed treats.
Our Lady of Mt Carmel Festival:The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival in Hammonton, New Jersey, is a traditional religious and cultural event celebrated by the local Catholic community. It typically takes place in mid-July and is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Roman Catholic tradition.
The festival often includes a variety of activities and events, such as religious processions, Masses, and prayers in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
